Spirit Week 2019 Day Two: Character Day

Maddie Romak, Writer

As we all know Spirit Week is taken very seriously here at Archbishop Spalding. Spirit Week is a way for us Spalding Students to be creative and have fun leading up to our Homecoming.

One of the students’ favorite days at Spalding is Character Day. During Character Day, you can dress up as your favorite character from a TV show or movie. Many students have groups get together to do several characters, my friends and I did Winnie the Pooh! Not only do the students dress up, the teachers participate too. Normally each department will do something together, for example the math department dressed as a deck of cards. Spirit week is not only about being silly and dressing up in your best costume, but it is a way for us Spalding students to show our school spirit.
