On Monday, September 30th, Archbishop Spalding High School hosted its annual Cavalier Open Golf Tournament at Compass Pointe Golf Course in Pasadena. The event gathered over 100 golfers, who teed off at 9:00 a.m. in a shotgun start. Participants enjoyed a serene day of friendly competition and camaraderie, all in support of Spalding’s athletic programs. Several friends of Spalding, including Coach Kyle Flynn and Mr. Parsons, lined the tees to take their shots at the hole across the fairway.
Thanks to the generous contributions from golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, the tournament raised over $23,000 for Spalding Athletics. This much-needed funding will help enhance the school’s sports programs, ensuring continued success for its student-athletes. The event was a resounding success, bringing together the Spalding community for a great cause. The Cavalier Open Golf Tournament was a great sendoff to summer and is good news for our sports programs getting to do more incredible things this year.
