This year’s swim season was fast and full of personal bests and records for the boys’ and girls’ teams. Boys Varsity won more meets than in the previous years and Boys JV put up an impressive season. Captains Luke Bulger, Billy Jaeger, and Bryan McKernan led this year’s teams. Boys Varsity placed fourth at the MIAA Championship Meet, defeating MSJ in a close battle for the first time. Boys JV and Boys Varsity have continued to grow and improve every year under the unmatched coaching of Spalding’s Coach Chip. Congratulations to the following swimmers who broke school records:

Girls Varsity had a spectacular season, with only one loss in their conference. Captains Skye Andros, Ashley Connor, and Taylor Emrich demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the season, leading the large freshman class. This year’s freshman class significantly impacted this season’s achievements, placing highly at important meets and earning valuable points. The team placed at an all-time high of second place at both championship meets. The team’s seniors and Coach Ashley organized dinners for fun and team bonding. Additionally, the girl’s team destroyed many of the school records, such as:

All of the swim teams represented Archbishop Spalding well this season with their many achievements. Many fun memories and new friendships were made this season. Congratulations to both teams for an outstanding season and good luck next season!
