Junior Ring
December 14, 2021
The Junior Ring ceremony truly is a Spalding tradition like no other. It was amazing to have our Junior class and their parents all in the same place for one of the first times since the pandemic. While we were waiting for the moment where our name was going to be called, we could not help but to think of all of our experiences at Spalding that have led us to that moment. The ring is much more than its physical appearance – it symbolizes a turning point in our Spalding career. It is the sum of all of the hard work we have put into our education thus far.
The Junior Ring dance was a wonderful way to top off the celebration. Along with the dance, the students had the chance to participate in the raffle and take pictures with their friends at the photo booth or while walking the red carpet. On behalf of the Class of 2023, I want to say thank you to Father Ryan for blessing our rings, to all of those who volunteered to help set up all the decorations, and to Mrs. Knight and Mrs. McKusky, our class moderators. It would not have been possible without you all! To my fellow members of the Class of 2023, I hope that whenever you look at your ring, you will remember and cherish all the memories you made at Spalding.
